Avik Mitra – Quality & Energy Management Expert
Ex – Advisor to National Board for Quality Promotion & Quality Council of India. Currently Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and New Delhi Municipal Corporation are availing the services from the Board. Mr. Mitra has been involved in the development of Sevettom scheme for Public Service Excellence. Earlier Mr. Mitra was Head of Management Services Division of Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), the division was engaged in providing consultancy and training services to public/private/government organizations in the area of productivity, quality and competitiveness. Mr. Mitra has also served as Deputy Director, National Productivity Council (NPC). While at NPC he had undertaken several assignments in the area of manpower assessment, system and procedure improvement and O&M. A post graduate in Industrial Engineering Mr. Mitra has undergone several management trainings in countries like, Germany, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore etc. He has also presented papers at UNIDO and Asian Network for Quality (Bangkok).
